FA-III Exams 2026 Time Table, Syllabus and Instructions Andhra Pradesh SCERT

The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Andhra Pradesh, has released the official instructions and timetable for Formative Assessment–III (FA-III) examinations for the academic year 2025–26. These examinations will be conducted for Classes I to X as per the academic calendar.

FA-III Examination Dates

The FA-III examinations will be held from 5 January 2026 to 8 January 2026 for all schools across Andhra Pradesh.

Timetable for Primary Classes (Classes I to V)

Morning Session: 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM
Afternoon Session: 1:15 PM to 2:30 PM

  • 05-01-2026: Telugu (Morning), Mathematics (Afternoon)
  • 06-01-2026: English (Morning), Environmental Science (Afternoon)
  • 07-01-2026: OSSC (Morning only)

Timetable for Secondary Classes (Classes VI to X)

  • 05-01-2026: Telugu, Mathematics
  • 06-01-2026: Hindi, General Science / Physical Science
  • 07-01-2026: English, Social Studies
  • 08-01-2026: Biological Science and OSSC papers as per class schedule

FA-III Question Paper Pattern

The FA-III examinations will be conducted for 35 marks. The question papers include MCQs, very short answers, short answers, essays, and long answer questions depending on the class.

  • Classes I & II: MCQs and free response questions
  • Classes III to V: MCQs, VSAQs, and SAQs
  • Classes VI to IX: MCQs, VSAQs, SAQs, and essay questions
  • Class X: Subject-wise pattern as prescribed by SCERT AP

Important Instructions

  • Question papers will be stored securely at school complexes and MRCs.
  • Papers will be distributed to schools one hour before the exam.
  • MEOs, CRPs, and Headmasters will monitor the examination process.
  • Any irregularities will be taken seriously by higher authorities.

Syllabus Information

The FA-III syllabus covers portions taught during November and December 2025. The syllabus is common for government and private schools and is enclosed with the official proceedings.
